Next¿

Next weekend I move into my new house. It's a beautiful little home, not far from the park.
Lots of planning on little things like does the coffee maker go on the right or left side of the toaster, but lots of big planning too. For the first time since I started playing music, I'll acctually have a space to dedicate towards it. No more hassle of trying to find someplace to set up and practice or record drums, and no more bothering neighbours through paper thin apartment walls. I'll finally have an isolated, sound proof place, where I don't have to be scared of bothering anyone.

Zenn-La Studios.

Last weekend my side band, "I as Well," met it's end. With my rigorous work schedule, starting a family, and looking for a place, it left only a couple of hours a week for us to play together. Vin, the main singer of the band has finished his own EP in the wake, and as soon as the studio is up and running I will be on home stretch finishing up the Nautili record, as well as other peices for commissions and submissions. Miah the bass player, has returned full time to the Flip Wilsons, who will be playing with Sub-Origin at the Boys and Girls Club in just a few weeks. This is an incredibly important show, and will be the first of outreach programs that Onieronaut Studios and it's current clientele are involved with.

It's been a little hard. I'm beginning to find out who my real friends are, and some that I thought were aren't so interested anymore now that I have to "grow up." It's interesting though, because sometimes the people you thought would be completely against bringing another life into this world, are the one's excited for it, and the people you thought would be excited really don't care.

In another couple weeks I get to go hear the heartbeat, and you can bet I'll be recording it ;)
