the bells...

This is my incredible wife and I after the ceremony on July 22nd.

These are the feet of the four bridesmaids and four groomsman as well as my wife and I, as you can see we all have matching nail polish.

And above are me and my four horseman. From left to right, John Allen (of the Flip Wilsons), Dustin Calvert (of the Minimum Bears), me, Jon Payne (Jenga), and Sean (Captain Spade) Albrite.

There are hundreds of pictures to go through, and I'm sure a gallery will be online soon enough for people to look through so if you want to see more, give it another week or so.

You'll probably be seeing me wear that outfit again, as it's just too damn cool not to.

Big thanks to everyone who came, and everyone who wished well, we appreciate it and it was a truly amazing experience.

Short list of wedding trivia:

Melissa (my bride) rode in on a horse led by her father.
The intro song was "Come Through" by PJ Harvey and the outro was "the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie.
Melissa's aunt made all of the outfits by hand in 5 days.
The cake was rainbow chip (made by grandma).
Fat Tire was the main choice of ale.
It was 102 degrees as the ceremony began (hottest day of the year, and we worried about rain.)

See you in a few weeks :D

about time...

I just finished doing inventory on all of my music, as I'd realized I'd reached the 100 Gig point.
I've created a main library with 7 different sub-sections, containing over 200 hundred original tracks.

I'll be rounding up art over the next week and doing the same with it.

What does this mean?

Well, in short, I'm done. No new tracks will be composed until the current record is finished.
I'll be spending the remainder of the year editing and mixing and finalizing everything for a release in first quarter of 2007. This should give ample time to work out the kinks in the packaging details, and for the band to become well rehearsed.

September the 9th will mark the 7 year anniversary since I started the project, and I'm just relieved I'm at a point where I can step back and say I'm done. Although it will still be hundreds of hours before I have it carved and crafted to where I can cry to the mountains that I am truly finished with what has become my life's passion.

I hope to finish the inventory and cataloguing in a few days, and I'll be preparing something special to celebrate on the 9th.

The pregnancy is going well, and we're getting down to the final run in welcoming little Ampersand into the world. Pictures from the wedding are starting to come back, but there are a few in particular I'm waiting on to post up.

Hope your all having a wonderful summer, I'll see you soon.
